Our school provides a welcoming environment for students aged 3 to 18 and above, offering a comprehensive range of ballet classes and training methods aligned with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).

MRS FIONA KEEBLE - PRINCIPAL

Fiona Keeble began her dance training at the Laine Theatre Arts and completed her studies at The Hammond School, Chester, earning herself a teaching diploma. She reached Advanced level in ballet, modern, and tap dance. For ten years, she toured the world, finally settling in Northern Italy where she taught at the Marisa Faccio School, Ventimiglia. She returned to the UK in 1996 and taught at the Margaret Dixon School of Dance in Sutton. Since 2002, Fiona has been teaching at The Wimbledon Village School of Ballet, assuming charge as its Principal in 2013.

Serena

MS SERENA HORDON - BALLET TEACHER

Serena, originally from Yorkshire, moved to London after a successful professional dance career in Europe and England, spanning theatre, film, and television. She holds Advanced Ballet and Modern certificates along with ISTD DDE teaching diplomas and qualifications from RAD and IDTA. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Serena has choreographed children’s shows at notable venues like Kings College and Epsom Theatre, raising money for charitable trusts. She has guided students who have progressed to full-time dance colleges and now enjoys teaching at The Wimbledon Village School of Ballet.

MS VICTORIA BUTCHER - BALLET TEACHER

Victoria earned a BA (Hons) in Dance from the London College of Dance, where she was awarded the Pamela Wray Award for Choreography. She further specialised in ballet and contemporary dance at the London Studio Centre. After touring with contemporary choreographers, she took a break to raise her children, Rosanna and Thomas. Returning to the dance world, Victoria shifted her focus to teaching and now enjoys working at The Wimbledon Village School of Ballet. She is fully qualified and holds Registered Teacher Status with both the RAD and ISTD. She runs the adult ballet classes and is also a qualified Pilates instructor.

Victoria Butcher
Benji

​BENJI - STUDENT

Benji was a pupil with us from age nine and went on to join the Royal Ballet School. He danced at the Boston Ballet and San Francisco Ballet and is now studying at Harvard.

ROSANNA - STUDENT

​Rosanna Butcher danced with Wimbledon Village School of Ballet from the age of 3 to 11. During her time at WVSB, she performed in productions of Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker and recently as a guest dancer in Alice in Wonderland. She was then accepted by London Vocational Ballet School to pursue their vocational ballet training. This year she finished her time at LVBS and has been accepted to train full time at Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham. She comes back to visit WVSB whenever she can.

It is such a wonderful ballet school, and my daughter looks forward to her ballet class every week. We especially enjoyed the show last year. Everyone's talent shone, and the choreography and costumes were just fantastic.
